Interesting. I kinda want to do a project tele and this could be a part I might use.If you want another cheap immediate gratification option, the GFS hot tele 60's is mighty close to the BG A3 rockwind (I had both). It's prb a smidge hotter output than your custom broadcaster spec though @ 9.6k

Well, I spent a bunch of time researching early 50s broadcaster and nocaster and early blackguard bridge pickup technical specs and then I ordered a custom wind from Bootstrap (who makes very affordable handwound pickups) with Broadcaster specs. We’ll see if this does the trick.
@Peen Simmons where did you find the Broadcaster specs? Curious.
Also, these seem interesting wound kinda hotter I guess with A3 magnets.

Did the pickups ever arrive?Me too. The build time is 4-7 weeks so it’ll be a little while
It arrived, but I moved on from the tele to fund the Heritage I got.Did the pickups ever arrive?

Since if it is mine, I can hardly keep a secret, I am holding up my hand. I bought @Peen Simmons 's ordered Bootstrap Broadcaster spec bridge pick-up to go in my tele project. I want to build one from scratch, as I always have wanted to do. I am deciding what to match this pickup with. I am thinking either a T style neck pickup that will match up well for lead/fill work, and will stack well in a 4 way tele control array, as I think I will use that. Or, will get a P-90 to match. But because I already have such a set up, I am inclined to go with the T-style. Open to thoughts. Will end up with two tele's, which will be nice as I live in two places now, for the next couple years anyway. Was thinking about having the Bootstrap folks wind me something that will match well, or...It arrived, but I moved on from the tele to fund the Heritage I got.
I sold the pickup to a mystery forumite who will reveal what he did with it
