By definition, the child is a bastard, not that I actually care. My comment was simply flippant.
Nothing Dave or Violet do in their personal lives is of concern to me. I don’t listen to their music. I won’t buy tickets to their shows. Yet, I have absolutely no problem with them, nor anyone who likes their music.

I think the thing about Dave is that he tried to cultivate a down to earth nice guy persona. And it was all bullshit.
It's the same with Thurston Moore cheating on Kim Gordon. A lot of these 'nice guys' are just stereotypical midlife crisis jerkoffs.

I wouldn't go that far... I mean yeah, for the most part he's done more good in the world than bad... the majority of people who have interactions with him have been overwhelmingly positive. He's a fallible human being. I would put him many leagues ahead of any grifting preacher who claims to be some kind of "chosen one"... and I won't break quorum and speak of any current shitbag politicians.
I would just say that the perception of "the nicest guy in Rock and Roll" exceeded the capacity of the real guy.
