Available to purchase exclusively in the UK through Peach Guitars only, we jumped at the chance when Gibson offered this unique opportunity to be an exclusive dealer for this limited run model, we were very lucky to be the first dealer to speak up!
With only 8 of each colour coming to the UK, this is bound to be a super rare guitar, with a really cool vibe.
The whole idea of this guitar is to give you the beefy tone of a Les Paul with the super light weight in the ballpark of 6.5 lbs on average.
100% American made in the same factory that builds all of those famous 335's, 175s etc
To me, it looks a little like a Les Paul, crossed with a ES137 and ES335 - This is going to ooze Rock and Roll
This is what Gibson have to say:
"The Gibson Memphis ES-139 with the familiar style of the world's greatest guitar, the Les Paul, but at an average weight of 6.5 lbs. and the superior semi-hollow construction which breathes new tonal air into an admired ancestor's appearance. The new single cut body shape looks like Rock, and features 2 Burstbucker Pro's, with Stopbar and an ABR bridge with single volume and tone controls. I like the looks of that one, and I guess the price isn't outrageous, but more than I would spend.

£1299 is pretty much what a Les Paul Standard costs new over here so the price seems OK...

I quite like some of Gibson's new ideas... less so others - this one looks pretty cool.

Peach guitars isn't very far away from me but I'm totally spent out after just buying a Martin and can't even think about tempting myself with a trip to a guitar store any time soon!

I’d get one if I was sitting on $2000. And if I lived in Europe, since they don’t seem to be available in the USA. This one and the lite seem like no-brainers for a regular addition to the Gibson catalogue, if only to sell to aging boomers whose backs can’t tolerate nine+ pound guitars.

Heritage makes the Millennium. The specs are very similar and you can get it custom built for much less money.

Cool look, but yeah, for that kind of money they could at least throw it in a decent case.

Less than $2,000? They often sell for more than that used. And if the ES-139 does turn up in the USA it will probably be less expensive than in Europe.

Looks kinda cool... if I saw it in a store I'd check it out, though being a Gibson I'd be pretty damn picky.
