Introducing the Red Truck

I'm glad I didn't buy the Valeton though I liked it at the store. This here does absolutely everything I need. No wish left unchecked here. IMHO

You dodged a bullet. I had the Valeton for a few hours... could not get 1 good sound out of it.

honestly, Mooer is slowly becoming a "real" brand in my mind, if that makes any sense.

It probably doesn't.

Anyway, most of their stuff has worked really well for me.

Except the Shimverb. Fuck that fucking thing.

Hmm.. Whats Mooers reliability like? This seems like a great tool to keep as a backup on gigs as long as it turns on and works when you actually need it.

Makes perfect sense, they're moving away from straight out clones. The idea here is definitely from the Flyrig, but they took the ball and ran with it. I love that this doesn't have a cab sim and that it has a multi mod, tap, user presets, and an effects loop.

Sounds alright. The only complaints I have from that demo are I didn't care for the overdrive or distortion, maybe if I had it to play with, I could get it where it sounded good. I also like my phaser before the dirt. I liked the old Ibanez rack effect system that were very similar to these things. They had maybe 4 or 5 effects, but they had a rotary button on each one to let you select where in the chain you wanted the effect. I thought that was pretty cool.
