I got the 'Very strong interview....but no thank you' email. As expected.
But I had a corporate recruiter contact me Monday for a local software company. I had been considering applying for the job, but didn't. I told the guy upfront that I am not sure I have tons of interest in the job, but they want to interview me anyways. I know the guy who just had this job a little bit, and he would have left the system in good shape. But I'm not sure this is what I'm looking for in case of a move. I'm boring and I want a very stable company that there is a reasonable expectation of existing for the next 10 years. Not sure that is the case for a niche software company, as nice as that niche is,
Anyways - my interview is this morning.
