Les Paul Jr DC question

Sooooo many bad engineering flaws in the Gibson headstock... flairing the tuners out to the sides where the sting binds and tuning problems occur.

The angled headstock creates extra tension which some like but then Gibson carves out enormous chunks of wood in the weakest part of soft wood to put a lugnut sized truss nut up top.

If you're keeping the headstock angle, id say straighter string pull, and consider a truss adjuster down by the neck pickup.
