Ironically enough... I made a FB banner for my band at one point... I was the Orange Cat energy in a group of dawgs.
It's very weird to see this shot of South Bend though, because the right side of the pic now days has these 10 story condo buildings and even Corby's bar (the brick building peeking out of the trees on the right edge) has a big two story patio add on with 2 additional bars.

It's not Chicago... but it's not a gas station with a single stoplight either. It's the other end of the South Shore train from Union Station if that gives it any gravitas.
This is the stadium that I sing the Anthem at every year and my band plays out at the Tiki bar. It's been under construction this year as the concourse will now be double decker all the way around with more luxury boxes.
and of course, Notre Dame.
EDIT: Oh hey!!... this is a cool vid with some of my favorite people from downtown!! The Studebaker museum staff were clients of mine, Joe and Stu from the Cubs I see all the time... Jodi at Oh Mama's makes great panini sandwiches!! (and I used to work with her husband).
