Excellent!..I think Albert King is my favourite out of all the classic blues guys.
I ran through this last night. Albert's playing is so basic, but so tasty! There is a reason his stuff gets borrowed a lot...
I was thinking the exact same thing! Well, I thought that there are a TON of ideas and licks that can be pulled out of that phrase.Lots of perfect mini melodies. Just be sure to play it in time and in the pocket and it beautiful.![]()

I'm guessing Clapton listened to lots of Albert and Freddy early on, even though he's more connected to BB via their recordings.
