NBD - I already sold the bass from the last NBD

This one I intend to keep. This Charvel Pro-Mod San Dimas Bass IV arrived today. I used to have a blue burst Fender Jazz Bass with a roasted maple neck that I loved, but I had to sell it for assorted reasons last year. The other day, I found this on the Adorama.com used page as an "open box " item for half of what they normally sell for. Fender owns Charvel. This uses a Fender Jazz Bass neck profile. There is nothing that I need to do to this bass. The stock Dimarzio pickups are great, and high quality hardware is used. And the bass was just that, an "open box" item that shows no signs of use.

Super sweet. I'm not sure why Fender doesn't have a P-Bass with a Jazz bridge pup and Jazz nut width in their regular line-up. It's like a super strat or nashville tele...it just makes a great thing better. I also LOVE the way so many people make the Jazz sound, but I've never dug the body and aesthetic. So, the mods on this kick ass bass are ideal to/for me...especially with the roasted neck.

nice! i got a charvel san dimas MIM guitar at the magic pawn shop a while back and it's such a killer guitar, so solid and like yours i haven't felt the need to upgrade anything.

Fender is using high quality components in the San Dimas line.
