I have never warmed to the Rickenbacker hollow/semi-hollow aesthetic, but I love hearing them in the hands of the Beatles, Dave Gregory, Peter Buck, the Smithereens, TP & the HBs, etc.

Yeah, Wendy Melvoin and Charlie Sexton are among the players that have shown these aren't one-trick ponies. Although their particular jangle is a killer trick.
