As banjos go, that is a nice deal. I will only play an open back banjo, and this is a good example of one. They compare it with the old Montgomery Ward banjos; my first banjo was bought in the Wards Bargain Basement in 1967. It had a bakelite body. I would think this one is wood at the original price. My current Goldtone banjo has a bakelite body; I like that it is light weight.

I need a new five string. If that bass had different pickups, fewer knobs, a streamlined shape, and wasn’t the color of vanilla pudding I’d be all over it. I guess I should buy something from LTD or Fender. How can Markbass understand how to make great amps but their instruments look like shop class projects?

Meh, I don’t buy cables that aren’t easy to repair. I can four good cables on Temu for around $42.
