Ok. Wine or ween?

Thanks. Needed to know because I'll be playing a song from the album today on the little college radio station. They're desperate for live people in the summer when the students go home, so the suckers gave me a slot.
Is there any internet streaming?

I've heard both.... so I use "Porsh" for a single car, and "Porsh-ah" for the company or cars as a collective.

I've heard both, too. It is "Porsh-ah", for sure (My dad speaks German, and I have a friend who is a professional German/English translator).

So now we know.

http://wrkc.kings.edu/ -- there's a stream link off their home page. I'm on today 5-6 p.m. Eastern.

The playlist for my hour (it'll probably go a bit over an hour, because I'm new to the gig and I will probably babble a bit):

"Old Chunk of Coal" - Johnny Cash
"Me and the Lord Blues" - The Del-Lords
"Revolution" - Dr. John
"Fortune" - Black Prairie
"Ten Second News" - Son Volt
"It Says Here" - Billy Bragg
"Romeo Is Bleeding" - Tom Waits
"I'm Gonna Leave" - Mark Wein
"Don't Think Twice" - Mike Ness
"Still a Fool" - Muddy Waters
"Careless Love" - Snooks Eaglin
"Another Travelin' Song" - Bright Eyes
"Wonderwheel" - Dan Zanes and Friends
"Was It You" - Joy Kills Sorrow
"I Feel a Change Comin' On" - Bob Dylan
"Where Does All the Time Go?" - Chain and the Gang

My German colleagues that come over here all say "porsh-ah"
They'd say "porsh" if they wanted to imitate an American saying it.

Yep, Porsche is two syllables. It is a family name, and there are tons of video and audio clips of family members pronouncing their name, and I figure they would know.

My name is spelled Boehmig but pronounced Bay-mig. Rhymes with gay pig.

Nobody ever gets that one right. I get "Boh mig", "boHEEmig" (which I totally don't get), all sorts of stuff.
