Wow, that is terrible.

Chicago is probably more dangerous that Afghanistan these days. It would be nice to get all these kids together and teach them that killing someone is a horrible, horrible thing.

It's probably not much different from any other major city if you're not black, not young, and not stuck in the wrong neighbourhood.

Being a mid-30's white guy in a decent neighborhood on the northwest side, I can't even imagine the kinds of things I read happening only a few miles away. It doesn't sound like the city I live in at all.
