And it is everything I hoped it would be. This is my first Gibson to ever be the first owner of. And I haven't bought a brand new guitar from a store in probably 9 years - so this is a really big deal for me 
A certain Kerouac reminded me I should post a thread about this glorious occasion on this here site. So here ya go!
For those of you aren't on my FB friends list, I'll catch ya up
I bought it from Wildwood Guitars in Louisville, CO (ordered over the phone) for $649 brand new with free shipping. Seemed like a great deal to me!! They also threw in a Wildwood Guitars shirt - so that's pretty neat. But it only came with a (fancy) Gibson gig bag. Today I snagged my favorite kind of SKB case for it on eBay for $120 ($35ish under retail) with free shipping. Also fond of the grey/white "racer-x" guitar strap from Couch. I'm in love with their straps.
Speaking of catching up... the lovely lady modeling this beautiful guitar is my girlfriend of 9 months, Amanda. She is in all ways wonderful.
