Speaking of bound teles... Hot or Not?

I disagree with basically everything you've stated in this post, except your first paragraph. I wouldn't venture to guess what percentage of strat and tele copies have Fender specs.

I've been known to have incorrect opinions before. :)

I didn't mean all cheap guitars have bad necks, which is, looking at my post, what I made it out to be. And if you like the neck you like the neck, but in my experience, I don't care for the looks or feel of good number of them. And if I feel ok with spending $130+ on pickups, I don't think it's unreasonable to spend the same or more to make it a comfortable, personalized experience when playing.

For the record, the Suhr headstock is unappealing to me. tongue0

cvc has an alder body. there are 2 cvs one has pine and the other ash. I forget which is which one is blonde the other white.

you said "looks cheap". this post is all about "feels cheap". that's a completely different argument.

all headstocks are beautiful. :embarrassed:

Incorrect, all my posts on the subject of this thread in regards to necks were equally about looks and feel.

If true, there must be many, many levels of beauty.

both the surh and the xavier look cheap because they have import sized bushings. people associate Fender import bushings with cheap. right or wrong.
