Not really. Don't have anything in common with a Tele besides the single-cut.

I'd like them better without the middle pickup. I also question the knob placement. Looks to me there might be an issue with dive bombs.

Yeah, I'd get rid of the middle pickup (and maybe even the neck), but that's never where the arm ends up when I do divebombs, so it shouldn't be a problem.

Give me one of these with a maple board and...

These are probably great, but I'd go with something that I know I like the feel of.
