not much going on. this is the first 4 day work week of the month for me. i get 3 more. our shop is going to be closed from the 24th till the 3rd.

band practice is saturday. the butterflies are welling up in my belly as we speak
 
we're going to be doing a mix of the older rock, nugent, styx,...........etc. mixed in with the newer rock.......don't make me lie to you abut which of the new stuff. i know it when i hear it, but i coldn't tell you who it is. and some original stuff.

i wanted to do the older stuff simply because no one around here does it. i'm also going to push for the newer stuff no one does. there's too many cover bands around here doing the same stuff. if we're going to survive, we gots to be different

ON that gig it does, but we're looking at December being a loss anyway since it's really hard getting people out during the holidays. We're putting together a new band and this is our chance to work it out with a weekly gig in addition to a few rehearsals. Kind of like a live rehearsal....luckily everything else I do this month is guaranteed money.
