You can't see the clips for your fishing rods that were screwed into the bed sides from this angle :embarrassed:

The outside of the truck looks pretty much the same except for the jump seat is out of the bed and the window is replaced. The only obvious changed are under the hood:

nah. I just wanted the original stuff as much as possible and as much as I drive it I think chrome would discolor quickly. Plus I spent double my original budget just getting it back together so I'm tapped out right now. The next thing is that I need to do is replace the rear axl since the differential is starting to go. At that point I'll get the driveshaft cut to size and install the 350 trans we have sitting down there at my father in laws shop.
 
That 3 speed is gonna make a huge difference in speed and mileage. Lovin' the direction you're taking her.. awesome work. Always great to see an old car/truck go backwards like Christine instead of forward :)
 
Thanks! I still love driving this thing around, too. I drive it to work 3-4 times a week since I got it back running. Car wash yesterday.

lol. I've been really bad about washing the cars. I haven't washed the suburban since I got it from my wife nearly a year ago :embarrassed:
