On another note, today I'm wondering why my grandson looks like Baimun?

I would usually say black and hate tort, but that tort combo here is so funky that I actually love it.

I ordered a Pearl guard... and will keep the Tort, Black, and White in the gig bag.

Got the bridge swapped out with new strings at lunch. I’ll finish intonating and try a couple pickguard combos tonight.

I have never considered myself a "Tele" guy.... but this guitar is checking all the boxes for me. It has the neck of a super strat, the hollow body resonates and rings like my Taylor, and the Thornbuckers have the clarity (tapped or untapped) to cut through like most of my other humbucker equipped guitars cannot do.

Will have to report back after a few gigs and the honeymoon phase is over but....
