Achtung! Were you ever a member of the Kiss Army? Are you STILL a member?

I was not. Some of my friends were. I’m pretty sure the kiss girl in the video was too young for the KISS Army.

I was already into Black Sabbath/BOC/Led Zeppelin/Judas Priest when all of the guys in my class discovered KISS...I was fortunate enough to skip right over that shit...

I had a GI Joe action figure when I was 7?

He had the 'Kung Fu Grip'.

I only like about 3 songs of theirs so I was more in the 'Kiss Are Not Too Bad Mild Appreciation Society' as opposed to being a full army member.

Similar for me in terms of the bands I was into at the time. I was in Junior High when KISS hit big. So, their popularity among my friends and peers was unavoidable. I never bought a single KISS album.

When “KISS Meets Phantom Of The Park” aired on TV (1978), I watched it and laughed my ass off. I gave my KISS Army friends so much shit about that cheesy, uncool abomination.

Years later (?1996?) I got tickets to the KISS reunion tour out of curiosity. It was campy, cheesy and silly. But, it was harmless schtick with some decent songs. After seeing them live, I had a better understanding of why my teen friends got sucked into them. To me, they were a novelty act.

Never. I was a Jr or Sr in HS when Kiss hit big, mostly with jr high boys. I found them juvenile, campy not in a good way, and not very original or talented musically. They got even worse over time.
