What are you practicing this week?

I'm starting upright bass lessons o Thursday.

My practice routine has been hosed since the move.

I hope I can focus before too long.

Kick ass! My cousin has played stand up for 15 years, I've always wanted to learn.
Mad mojo to you!

A bunch of 80s pop that I'm gonna make Baimun sing in July.

Now stop what you're doin'
Cause I'm about to ruin
The image and the style that you're used to
I look funny, see
But yo, I'm makin' money see
so yo world I hope you're ready for me

Now gather round
Cause there's a new fool in town
and his sound's laid down in Prages underground
I'll drink up all the Yuengling you got on yer shelf
So just let me introduce myself

My name is Baimun
pronounced with the big oon
And them ladies
oh how they like to swoon...

Here's my take on the "Smoke on The Water" solo :)

I love that solo. You really captured the behind-the-beat way he played it. It builds so much tension.

I'm working on a couple of original songs, trying to finish them and smoothly play the parts I can't nail consistently.

I'm also revisiting "The Entertainer" -- I've taken several runs at it but not quite made it through yet. This is one I really want to get down.

Thanks! :)

I need a new direction this week. I think it's going to be altered scale sounds and superimposing triads. :)

Sounds cool. I love the sound of ragtime guitar. Working from a known arrangement or going at it on your own?
