What are you practicing this week?

I'm not exactly practicing and playing guitar,Most probably i like picking the guitar up and sees what comes out, its very interesting to play guitar..
 
Raming up the improv skills for a Bonfire party in a few weeks. Gig'd it last year, was asked back this year...
Got as new PA coming so this year should be even more fun....
I'm taking the looper and the GT8..... What MORE could I want....

So yes, fused finger bootcamp is under way....
 
I've been just working on songs for gigs the last few weeks. I'm also trying really hard to get rid of my physical anchor when I'm picking. The only time I struggle now is when I have to pick something fast. The consistency in the rest of my playing has gotten much better though. I'm also spending more time practicing standing up. There is a small difference between where I like to put the guitar when I stand vs where it is when I sit and it's really impacting how I play on gigs.
 
I have to actually pick the guitar back up this week. For the last week I've been making house music at home (as seems appropriate). Not much guitar there. But the jazz band is getting a new setlist so I'll have some stuff to work on this week for sure.
 
Whatever chords I manage to stitch together with whatever notes I manage to find to do it with. Usual stuff, IOW.
 
I'm doing some serious woodshedding since I saw Dave Rawlings and now feel like an utter hack and failure.

Never played the Miranda Lambert tune, as for the others it has been a few years.
 
One we added that is blowing up fast is "Rude" by Magic.

If you watch closely, at 1:embarrassed:2 you'll see me and the rest of the Sandbar Bums playing on the island. :wink:



We're also working on a couple originals that I wrote in Jamaica.
