Question: What are you practicing?

I'm practicing a basic country type thing. Fretting hand isn't difficult but my picking hand is getting a workout as it's fairly long. May have to jack up my dose of Alieve.

Better go to Tylenol and get off the ibuprofen. Word is it can accelerate pneumonia if you come down with the virus. Most "healthy" people who have succumbed had taken ibuprofen recently according to some European research.

I can't take Tylenol due to another health issue. Alieve is all I got.

Damn that sucks man. I've stopped my Rheumatiod Arthritis medicine, just to boost my immune system temporarily as a precaution. Its the kind that clears the body in 36 hrs so I can do that. Just gonna be stiff as hell for a while.

It's been 3 days since I last had Alieve and I can usually go 5 days. Then I start to really hurt in my joints all over and get stiff. .

Working on my acoustic playing.

Nothing in particular, just playing everything that comes to mind on it, enjoying the sound of it and hoping I can get my strength back up to where I sound good playing anything on it.

I picked up my bass today, for the first time in months

two points - the WHO has backed off recommending against ibuprofen, there isn't actually very good evidence that it makes COVID worse. Also, Aleve isn't ibuprofen, it's naproxen (also an NSAID)

My band is remotely recording our 5th album, so I've mostly been working on playing to a metronome and singing harmony. There's also quite a bit of ear training as I try to figure out how to play what I want to hear, and, of course, working on arrangements.

I've also been working on writing "second" guitar parts. I've been the only guitarist in my bands for the last 15 years, but the bassist is the other main song writer in the group, so the basic tracks he sends over usually have a guitar on them already, so I have to play around what's already there. It's been so much fun I've started adding second guitar parts to my own songs, as well.

I have been practicing my 'Ya'mon!'

I’ve been practicing with yr mom.

Actually, I’ve been working on a home recorded album, but today I took a break to work on recording a couple tracks for a non-album single release. I’m also putting out my actual proper third LP in a couple weeks, so I need to work on album art. This could be the year I release 40 tracks in a single calendar year.

I stand corrected. Thanks!
