I remember hitting it with dial up, waiting for some tab to load, only to find it wasn't close to being accurate.
 
I don't recall when I joined HC. Perhaps 2008 or so? I wasn't hooked in to online stuff until about 2002 and I was limited to Audio Galaxy at the time. It took me a while to branch out.

Here since Spring 2010.

I remember the site was hosted on some university computer and one of the record labels filed a lawsuit and the university shut it down. I can't remember what university but I think EMI was the record company. It came back later and lasted for a long time but then got sued by a bunch of music publishing associations for copyright violations. I can't recall if the RIAA was part of it, but it was around that time when everyone was suing torrent sites and mp3 exchanges, so it could have been RIAA.

Joined HC 1999 and here when the coverfests dried up. Of course, they died up here too, but I at least like you guys.
 
I don’t think I joined HC until 2009. I took a very long break from guitar before I got back in.
 
2004 at HC, until the total "through the looking glass" shit storm happened. i was already over here also (2011). left HC and been here since. (sorry)
