WTF: Another Shooting Spree

Saw this on my FB feed just now. Vegas doesn't seem that friendly:

ya know......it's almost like there is an organized effort to cause these kind of situations on a daily basis......like, if you have enough shootings every day then there will absolutely be mega gun control law......not to be political, but.....it's just TOO organized.

I wish they would keep the shooters names out of the media unless they are fugitives. I wonder if that would keep some of the folks from doing it. I mean most of them are just plain crazy but I am sure some do it for the notoriety.

Don't you have to be crazy anyway to want notoriety for such a thing?
 
One of the shooters yelled "this is a revolution" before the shooting.
Sounds like them unwashed anti Government types.
They went after the cops.Not a random kill everybody spree.
 
I'm impressed with their "revolution" that was quickly followed by suicide. :facepalm:

And yes, this is happening every day, or almost daily.
I agree with limiting the perp's exposure. Just call them "human fecal matter 2014-1", then "human fecal matter 2014-2", and so on.
 
The story of the kid in Isla Vista who shot up a bunch of people had me intrigued. He was pissed at women because they didn't give up the you-know-what. The more you read about him the more you wanted to wring his neck.

If that were the case, surely something would have been enacted by now. This has been going on for years.

It's impossible to discuss any of this intelligently without getting political, other than by commenting that it's simply tragic.

That said, 'the media' isn't a monolith; it's impossible to keep a name from the public, especially in the era of social media. Even if you could, I'm not sure it would make much of a difference, other than to obstruct a pretty necessary national conversation.
