Do you take any vitamins?

I've taken a 1-a-day for years and recently added some Omega 3s.

I'll add some zinc and vitamin C if I feel a cold coming on.

I have no idea if it helps anything but I figure it cant hurt.

I take a multivitamin because I don’t eat enough veggies. And vitamin d because I don’t get enough sun.

I take Lutein and Bilberry cuz they're suppossed to be good for general eye health and my eyes are shite

For real?

Ya. It's stupid expensive though. I got a few bottles for very very cheap and I can say they make me feel great. Organ meats are loaded with vitamins and minerals and enzymes. If you've ever had some liver n onions and felt like a million bucks for the rest of the day, that's probably why. My creaky ass, painful knees don't hurt anymore, at all. And they're not nearly as creaky.

I can't afford the regular price though so once these are gone, I guess that's that unless I can find a cheaper alternative of similar or better quality.

I do. Living in Michigan, I need the vitamin d supplement half the year anyway since I don't drink much milk. I figure if I'm taking a vitamin anyway, I might as well take a bigger pill with all the stuff in it.

Those ancestral supplements look good but at those prices I’d rather just buy more vegetables. I do like eating offal but I don’t know where to get it and it hasn’t caught on with the restaurants here. There’s a butcher in a town a half hour away that might be able to get me some but I really don’t like driving all the way out there.

Just fish oil...

I forgot about that one. I do one at breakfast and one at night with my anti-psychotic.

We start taking some vitamin D in fall and keep taking them throughout winter. With only 4 hours of daylight it seems to help a bit.

Wouldnt the 500 mg supplement be like eating 1 bite of beef liver?
I'm not really understanding how this works

It's liver, spleen, pancreas, and kidney I believe. The organs are desiccated (freeze dried) and ground into a fine powder, so the volume is greatly reduced and what's left is therefore concentrated. And a serving is 6 capsules (500mg each). I take 8 because I'm special.
