Superbowl Predictions?

We have a DVR so we can avoid commercials. When they have the Super Bowl Commercials special, Carol will want to watch it.

AFC Championship Game: Patriots 38, Colts 18

NFC Championship Game: Seahawks 31, Packers 21

Superbowl Prediction: Patriots 27, Seahawks 17

Patriots: 45-7
Seahawks: 28-22

So then.....the Packers were a little better than I gave them credit for, and the Colts suck worse than I thought....not far off, though.

My prediction is I won't be watching it. The only thing that could have made it worse is if Dallas was in it.

AFC Championship - Pats 41 Colts 20

NFC Champioship - Seahawks 24 Packers 20

Superbowl - Pats 28 Seahawks 14

Just need to complete my prediction...

AFC - Pats 45 Colts 7 - I gave the Colts more points than what happened.

NFC - Seahawks 28 Packers 22 - Pretty close on my prediction.

The reason the Pats manhandled the Colts so easily is that they didn't have to worry about the Colts running game. They pretty much tee'd off on Luck. Their defense is much less effective when the opponent can run, as shown by the Ravens last week. They'll be facing Lynch in the Superbowl, so I expect it to be close, with Seattle squeaking out a win. The football gods seem to be smiling on the Seahawks lately.

Any time I predict a game's outcome the opposite always happens. I can be hired to predict your favorite team will lose.

you sound like me and my fantasy football number 1 draft pick. You want a player to have the worst year of their career, I'll take them with my first pick.

Agreed the football gods are Seahawk fans it seems. I think Seattle will repeat since the Hawks D can neutralize TB and I don't know if the Pats D can neutralize Lynch. They could do what GB did and sell out against the run and dare Wilson to beat them (and they can match up man on man) but I think Wilson won't be as terrible as he was yesterday because it likely won't be raining :P

Sometimes the commercials are more entertaining than the games. Been a while since that was the case though, the advertisers been slacking lately and the games have been close.
