I use left hand vibrato and have no real need for wonky spring loaded contraptions. Being a lefty who plays right I have a plenty strong left hand.
Ive never really cared for the type of music that requires dive bombs on a Floyd either.
I can find a use for a Bigsby to add some shimmer to sustained chords but thats such a minor specific thing Id as soon not even have that.
I would still like to find my perfect Strat tho, just for the tones and ergonomics. Something vintage radiused with low output pickups. Id block it though.

left hand vibrato cannot bend down, only up ( yes technically you can start with a slightly bent-up note and release the note but it’s not exactly the same).

I have a strat plus deluxe I bought new in 93 or 94, still have it and love it. I owned a Strat Ultra and flipped it. Wish I hadn’t.

I was checking to see what they are going for these days, and it's selling for way more than I paid for it, but I'm still hanging onto it.
