I wonder if much of the Tull-hate isn't misplaced anger at the National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences for the howler award in 1989 (in preference to Metallica). Perhaps those metal-heads of limited intellectual capacity/reading ability (i.e. all of them

I recall Jethro Tull winning a Grammy Award for Best Hard Rock/Metal Performance (Vocal or Instrumental). At the time, I was mad like most people that Metallica did not win.
But, I like some of Tull's music. It's interesting to hear a flute in rock music for something a little different. For whatever reason, Heavy Horses was my favorite Tull album....
