i'm doing my best here. maybe i'll get back to the Mickey Baker book 10 years from now. until then, i'll keep stretching.
I like that one, not all the way through it yet, but getting there. I have a jazz book by Jody Fisher that's not bad either. It's a series of 4, but I only have the first one.

I know, i know, one should not become too dependant on tab, but i love these books.
Over the years, I've got a lot out of Ted Greene's "Chord Chemistry" and Frank Gambales "Essential Soloing Theory Course"
I have 'Chord Chemistry'. I've had it since probably the early 80's but it is a bit beyond my ability to get much out of it since I don't play jazz guitar - plus my fingers are too dang short to finger some of the chords in that book...
...we're all on the road to where we want to be on this thing. And when we get there we realize that we really wanted to get to the next town over, anyway![]()
