Bad news fellas. I dont think I'll have mine done. With my water heater crapping out, and flooding the basement, and then tearing up all the carpet, most of my gear isnt set up. In addition, with the new job, I just dont have time to throw it all together. Ive a bit of drums done, and some keyboard...but nothing worth submitting...

Ok, Im done with guitars. I have played the solo sections so many times Im am literally watching my calluses flake off while I play. My finger tips are killing me. The solo sucks and its so long I ran out of shit to do 3/4 of the way through. But at this point Im out of time and give a damn. On to vocals. :facepalm: Remind me never to do this again.

Dude, you will be fine! Also you have gained so much experience working on this. It does get easier.
 
I am now trying to figure out how I wound up with an 8 minute version of a 5 minute song...
 
I have barely started mine. I had all afternoon to finish - which would be enough time. But I had to help out at a race this morning and when I got back Mrs D had started tearing apart her craft room - which is right next to my studio. That will take all day and into the evening at least. And tomorrow night is band rehearsal. Not sure I will be done in time.

I never got around to finishing a full studio version of my track. I may need to go with a youtube cover I did of it about a month ago.
 
OH SNAP!!

I had one last music track to record...

That damned outro solo.

I had put it off for as long as possible, because I quite frankly dreaded it, and was 100% sure I would fail miserably and wind up punking out and just throwing some typical OGGish lame sorta-solo on at the last minute.

Well, I gave the "Prince" version a shot, and on take 2, I stuck it in that little bastard and broke it off!

Either I suddenly no longer suck as a guitarist, or I got insanely lucky. Either way, it's FULL of win.

Tomorrow I finish the vocals, mix it down, and then never ever listen to that damned song again!
