And THIS is why I don't order guitars online. A purchase usually comes down to how the instrument feels and sounds. The last three guitars that I've bought were not what I went shopping for. The '71 Guild x500 was purchased while I was looking for an ES-175, the PRS was bought (at Jim's Music, no less) while ES-335 shopping and this was a strat-safari gone awry. I still need the strat but it'll have to wait, I suppose.

It's a 2000 American Standard Stratocaster I believe. With sperzels, noiseless pick-ups and Buzz Feiten tuning system.

Ok. I just ordered....everything that is attached to the pick guard. Pickups, pots, switches, caps, an Electrosocket and a roll of copper shield tape. I'm doing that work and then I'll take it to Joel Grant for a good setup. I won't have all of the parts until next week.
