I'm pooped. :embarrassed:

Friday was the usual dinner at the inlaws

Saturday was work (got my boost pedal prototyped) and then we hung out.

Sunday we cleaned the garage (I can see the floor for the first time since we moved in) and did yardwork. Jack got a bath. Then we had a nice dinner on the patio.

Today we went to a BBQ at Tom Harkenriders place and had a great time. My son tried a bounce house for the first time and we couldn't him out of it all day. We had a great time and had a ton of great food.

Friday: work

Saturday: work until 6:embarrassed:0pm, then Blackhawks victory #1 in Stanley Cup Finals :thu:

Sunday: absolutely nothing accomplished whatsoever.

Monday: excepting some yard work, ditto Sunday...until Blackhawks victory #2 in the Stanley Cup Finals :thu::thu:

Tuesday: off until at least 5 pm; maybe catch up on work around the house...

Sat - I went out to my friend Luigi's bright and early to help him with recording and production. I walked in the door and we immediately started drinking. Have not been quite that drunk in awhile. Surprisingly the recorded tracks came out really well... I guess I've achieved that magical state of musical professionalism where I can be piss drunk and still play my instrument. :embarrassed:

Sun - Bought a Nintendo DSi. Really enjoying it so far, especially the port of one of my old favourite SNES games, Final Fantasy II/IV.

Mon - Went to the laundromat instead of trying to do laundry at the apartment. Was a bit more of a PITA to haul things down there but I was able to do more loads quickly. On the way home I passed a tent sale outside of our local furniture dealer... I ended up buying an hideously ugly but awesomely comfortable Home Theater Recliner which has two beer holders!

Got engine and transmission installed for the buggy. The rest of the weekend i was a lazy ass.

Friday, picked up dog food, bought the heating element for the hot tub, ate at red robin (horrible, but not my pick), came home and chilled out.

Saturday, hit some garage sales, bought an old pair of Coral bookshelf speakers on a whim ($2, so how can you go wrong), almost bought a 12" Jenson, but someone ripped the surround a little, and a pair of maracas. The Corals sound nice and throaty, probably need to replace the electrolytic cap in the crossover though. Excellent stereo separation. I just need to watch how much power I feed them. Worked around the house a little, then gigged at a shit hole that night.

Sunday, Put in the heating element, started getting the pool together and topping the water off. Some other odds and ends yardwork. Went for a bike ride with Mrs T. Laid around in the hot tub for a while.

Monday, more odds and ends yard work, another bike ride with Mrs T, took the cover off of the pool and got things started up.

It took me four hours to make my usual one hour commute home on Friday. I spent the rest of my weekend recovering from that.

Friday: Not much that I remember.

Saturday: Took the dogs to Cedar Lakes to play on the trails and in the creek. Then worked on the garden a little, and basically vegetated.

Sunday: Road trip to Seneca Rocks. Got home around 8:30 and had a note on the door from a neighbor who was having a party, so we cleaned up and went to the party for about 2 hours.

Monday: 14 mile run at Kanawha State Forest. Saw some bears. Came home and napped. Woke up and grilled steak, corn, and asparagus. Then I goofed off on the internet and uploaded pics from the weekend.

Friday: had a great night out, was the last big one with all my uni friends so we got pretty drunk and I may or may not have danced like a complete fool :embarrassed:
Saturday: moved most of my stuff back home. Feels weird to know I'll be here until I get a steady income to be able to move out again. I don't like it, miss my independance already. Good to see all the family and our dog though :)
Sunday: nothing much really, just sat around and talked/drank tea.
Monday: meal out for my Mum's birthday.

Friday: Chilled around by the pool, did some washing, drank, spoke to my parents online.
Saturday: Work, Sleep, Swim, Eat. Read, Bed
Sunday:Work, Sleep, Swim, Eat. Read, Bed
Monday:Work, Sleep, Swim, Eat. Go for long walk around the compound listening to The Wall on my ipod, Read, Bed

:embarrassed:

Weekend starts tomorrow. Tomorrow night I'm planning on getting my hair cut, swimming, trying out my world cup batch of not entirely legal liquid I've been brewing.
Thursday we're having a party for some friends in town who are due to get their asses out of here in a few weeks.
Friday probably a usual friday spent drinking, wishing I didnt have work on Saturday and talking to my gran online.

Friday - still on a cruise.

Saturday - disembarked and drove home. Got back around 5:embarrassed:0. Cut the grass while 1W did a little unpacking and then we went to FenderPusher's party where I proceeded to drink all his beer.

Sunday - Mega grocery shopping. We were out of everything, which was by design as we were going on vacation. Stocked up on meat and poultry. Reinforced the garden's rabbit perimeter. Fired up the big charcoal grill and did a mixed grill so we can have leftovers for most of the week - lots of chicken tenders, some brats, chicken burgers, a NY strip steak, couple of pork chops, some shrimp. Stayed up late watching a lot of good stuff that got DVR'd while I was on vacation.

Monday - weeded the garden and replanted a bunch of stuff that was eaten by the rabbit who got in while we were away. Repacked the grease in the bearings on a couple of woodworking machines. Made a big salad with garden stuff and leftover grill stuff. Chillaxed.

Friday - Drove 150 miles through Harrisburg to Gettysburg - stopped at Hooters along the way.

Saturday - Woke up in Gettysburg and coached 12 kids to go 0-4 in a soccer tournamnet :(

Sunday - Woke up and coached 12 kids to go 0-1 in a soccer tournament - Got to leave the tournament early. :(

Monday - Cleaned the garage - I can actually fit 2 cars in it now. Worked on the '72 VW and drover her around a bit. She's almost there - just need to replace the steering damper - but might as well replace all the bushings and ball joints in the front end. I'll probably just bu new front axles if I do that will the ball joints already built in - it's only a few dollars more, plus I don't have the tool to do the ball joint anyway. I thought about the 12V wiper motor that hopefully Phill will sell me.

I had to work, but I still got a litle bit of a weekend.

Saturday- Taught class and then went to the Asian Festival. Ate yummy asian treats until I was on the verge of exploding. Then I went home and fell asleep/into a food coma.

Sunday- Video recorded my class to be monitored. We are usually monitored in person but apparently the new chick can't make it to Columbus on the weekends. I was thrilled with my class. I didn't make one mistake and as much as I didn't want to watch the video, I broke down and was frankly quite impressed. I have no problem saying I'm a damn good instructor. Anyhoo, I was putting a list of my set together to send with the DVD when I realized one of the new routines I learned was labeled incorrectly and thus will cause me to fail. I emailed the monitor and hopefully, she'll give me the benefit of the doubt? I really don't want to record it again, I doubt it will go as well. I've never made a class structure mistake and it would figure I'd pick Sunday to do it. Argh.

Monday- Took the night off of work because my friend is in town from Spain and I wanted to spend some time with him. I was supposed to go to his brother's house for a cookout. I went to bed at 8am and got up at 3pm. Got ready and then the cookout was postponed because of rain. Ended up going out to dinner with the BF instead. I was supposed to meet my friend after and instead passed out. I slept from 8pm to 5am. I slept the entire day away but I got that exhaustion problem handled. Oddly enough, I can't keep my stinkin' eyes open this morning.

Friday - not too much, actually.

Saturday - worked at my office in the morning. Then went out with the wife to buy dirt, peat moss, manure and mulch. In the evening we went to an Arts and Spirituality night at a local Catholic Worker house. I played guitar behind a poet, then sang one of my own songs.

Sunday - grocery shopping, then a birthday party for one of my nephews. Wrote a new song. :thu:

Monday - went to Lowes where we bought a shed that will be built at the house we don't live in. Once it is built we can get rid of the storage unit we have been paying for for 4 years. Recorded the last five songs for my new CD (which is now available in CD and download at my website) and sent all the data to my ReverbNation store.

Friday - Cavo/Lifehouse/Daughtry Concert

Saturday - Got roasted at the beach (literally got blisters on the bottoms of my toes, the sand was so hot)
Dinner with my Sister and her family, visiting from Washington D.C.

Sunday - Wife and youngest daughter went to Mother-in-Law's cottage for the day. Got sun inbetween the pop-up thunderstorms.

Just chilling, and enjoying not having to be working on my thesis for 5-8 hours every day. Cooking, household stuff, spending time with family, etc.

Saturday: Picnic/Party/Sleepover, The Girl's friend who also graduated with her this semester is from a family with a little bit of money. They have 3 daughters, two of which graduated college this year, one was turing 21. So they had a big Friends/Family type thing. They roasted a whole hog, first I'd ever been to a hog roast. It was delicious, along with all the other food, baked beans, deviled eggs, pasta salad. Then add 2 kegs, corn hole, washers, beer pong, flip cup, shots,.. It was a good day. We passed out on a couch in thier basement around 1 or so.

Sunday: Woke up to biscuits and gravy thanks to the mother/host of the party. Delicious. Then I relaxed the rest of the day.

Monday: Took the bike out to Deep Creek lake to watch a band play at the Honi-Honi bar. It's an outside, dockside, bar. Really good crowd, lots of dancing, the band was tight. Some songs sounded like a jukebox, no lie. Before leaving though my biker friend chickened out of going because of rain, so I drove up myself to meet another friend of mine who has a lakeside cabin up there. I get there fine, it's a beautiful day, so my chicken biker friend calls and says it's looking good and he's coming up. He gets there, we enjoy the weather for awhile and it starts looking bad. We decide it's going to rain so we go to my friend's cabin to wait it out. We eat sandwiches, hard salami, cooked salami, swiss cheese, longhorn cheese, honey mustard, kosher dill pickles, ... what was I saying again? Oh yeah, so then we go down to the dock, smoke a cigar and talk about times past. Finally my friend and I decide it's time to leave. Well of course now it starts raining. We get about 20 minutes into our 2 hour drive home and my friend pulls into a Wal-Mart, we walk through the isles soaking and driping wet, he buys a rainsuit for himself and a sweatshirt and gloves for his girlfriend, and we hit the road again. We're in the rain for probably another 45 minutes, completely drenched head to toe driving through winding backwoods WV roads, but then... the rain stops, the sun comes out, and it was beautiful. Easily the most amazing ride I've had so far. The warm air started to dry my clothes, the sun was going down over the mountain tops, the clouds hung in the sky much the same way that bricks don't. It was a great day.
