Chipotle is garbage. There, I said it.




I think Chick-Fil-A is pretty Meh.... I would never ever eat there except my wife loves it (but hates REAL fried chicken or chicken wings... that that probably 'splains it.)



Who the fuck ever though Gazpacho was a good idea? I mean a) it's fucking COLD.... b) It tastes like the shit you CUT OFF the vegetables that you made into your meal tossed in a blender, then they rinsed the fucking blender out and poured it into a bowl instead of the garbage. Fuck that manky cold ass shit.

I've had some pretty good meatless burgers. My wife doesn't eat beef, so veggie burgers make a nice compromise when I'm craving a hamburger.

I've not had any issues with tofu. Perhaps your sphincter is defective.

I will never understand the popularity of Chick-fil-a. The blandest, driest sandwich around.

Most of them are bad. But yesterday I had lamb flavored vegan burger at a place called Jack’s in a suburb of San Francisco and it was delicious. If someone had told me it was meat I would have believed them.

As for what sucks, In-N-Out burgers are bland and too greasy. I don’t understand the hype.

If you have ever ordered the grilled chicken sandwich from them, you would never set foot in there again. I took one bite, spit it out, & tossed the sandwich. If that’s what they are frying, they are just trying to cover up some bullshit.

Chipotle is absolute garbage. Why do people rave about it? I can take you to a minimum of 10, hole in the wall burrito joints in CHICAGO that blow the socks off of Chipotle.
 
I suspect with Chick-Fil-A there's also some element of a tribal allegiance display going on that transcends whether the food is any good in the first place.

My biggest culinary gripe with CFA is that their chicken and their sandwich breads are sweet.

Good call on Chick-Fil-A. It's a decent sandwich, but when I see the line at the drive thru, I have to wonder why.
 
When Chipotle was mentioned, I assumed you were talking about the smoke dried chilli (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chipotle) and was confused because that is good stuff in my experience.

Then I realised there is a restaurant chain (https://www.chipotle.com/), which what I assume you're all stating is garbage, just I'd never heard of it. There are apparently now 13 of these in the UK, all in the greater London area.
 
Thai food. I’ve been taken 3 times and each, with different people and different places. I have asked that they pick something for me that is delicious. One I could stomach and ate to be polite. One I sent back after a taste. The last I refused to eat as it literally smelled like the ingredients were spoiled and rotten. I did like the tea but it was mostly cream and sugar. More like a desert.
